hello! my name is Hayley but i'm better known on the internet as Loxy.

i am chronically ill and neurodivergent, and thus spend a lot of time indoors on the internet. i grew up in its golden age and have become disheartened by the ceaseless enshittification of every space i had previously grown to love, so i've just begun my journey on creating my own space to house my thoughts and creations. html is brand new to me and a lot of the stuff you see here are probably placeholders until i come up with a more cohesive theme (and then actually learn how to code it)

i've lived most of my life in a small Canadian town, so the internet is an important window for me to the rest of the world. i once spent an entire year here in an apartment alone with no internet, a limited phone data plan, and no one to visit me... and legitimately had a mental breakdown from the isolation. my goal is to find other creatives and kind-hearted weirdos, whether near or far, with whom i can exist alongside in the crazy experience of human life c:
