the Dude Ranch alcoholic cocktail

• start with a mason jar full of ice
• 1.5oz silver tequila
• 2 pumps Desert Pear Monin syrup
• half ounce lime juice
• 2oz aloe juice
• 2oz mineral water

i found this recipe from the Monin website🡥 and was really thrilled to finally find a cocktail that uses aloe juice. if i'm being honest i usually don't measure out the ingredients and just eyeball it, i probably end up with closer to 2 ounces of tequila and maybe a bit more aloe juice and mineral water as i make sure the jar is filled to the top with them. doesn't hurt to use more lime either to offset the taste of the tequila if you're not the hugest fan of it, but if that's the case you could also just use less tequila.

Substitutions: i haven't played around much with this recipe because it's pretty good as is, however in the original it does use premium silver tequila and wants you to garnish with a lime peel, pineapple leaves, lime wheels, and though it's not listed it looks like theres a piece of prickly pear in the picture of the drink. i suppose you could do all that, but i'm lazy and i also like using the cap and straw for my mason jar - so the garnish isn't necessary for me. it would definitely make the already stunning magenta beverage even prettier though!
