i'm not sure how common a pink lemonade tea is tbh, and i don't know if a non-tea pink lemonade would still work with these ingredients... i think actual pink lemonade is a lot sweeter and the syrups would kind of be redundant. i'll have to try it one day and find out! as always you can do whatever you please in terms of the syrups, whether it's going lychee only or rose only, or doubling the amount if you're not concerned about calories or diabeetus. i just really like this tea-based style of pink lemonade as it still has that slight tea flavor and isn't overwhelmingly sweet, even with my suggested syrup additions. i'm not sure what makes it "perky" as it is caffeine free after all, but i had to keep the innuendo naming convention going.
Substitutions: just like the previous two recipes based around discontinued Epicure teas, i'll list what they crafted it with: lemongrass, rosehip berries, apple, citric acid, lemon peels, orange peels, hibiscus flowers, natural flavours, lemon flavor naturally fortified, licorice root - and almost all of those have "organic" listed in front of them. when my box of this runs out i will be on the hunt for a new pink lemonade tea; if i find one i like i will update this page. there's maybe different syrups that would go just as good if not better than the ones i picked, these are just what i had on hand at the time. definitely feel free to not be lazy like me and use real lemon :)
